The sale is for a large urn style table lamp. The lamp has Asian people, scenic backgrounds, multi colored. Near top, raised ceramic decoration trimmed in gold. The lamp may be hand painted. Large size makes it attractive. The wood base may have originally been gold leafed with much wear. Not sure if base is wood or metal. The ceramic appears to be in good condition with no chips/cracks. Two pull chains at top, light sockets. Both work electrically and cord is ok. Lamp has many issues; especially with age. The top above lamp above the sockets is tarnished, needs a finial. The top cap may be off on angle a slight bit. One socket may be older than the other for they look different. The metal on pole and cap on ceramic do not magnify so could be brass. It’s darkened by tarnish, dirt, pitting; appropriate for age/use. The raised gold at top of lamp has some wear spots but not bad at all. Under the metal cap near top of ceramic, theres a line in ceramic that looks like a craze line. Could be a gold stain or paint line flaw. Dirty in crevices and on surface. The lamp is heavily detailed. It seems for the most part the paint on ceramic is in good shape. Little in the way of chipping. Base is worn, may have been gold leafed; cannot say if it was made this way. Flaws in ceramic in color and also spots dots lumps and bumps; made that way. Underside is a soiled gren felt pad. Sticker residue patch n cat top. May have a bit of a jiggle at base, only a slight bit and can be tightened. See all pics for they are part of description.
