Shades measure approximately 5 1/2 inches tall. The shades widest measurement is approximately 9 inches. The height of the bottom tier of the shades is approximately 3 1/2 inches. The height measurement given in the listing is from the base of the lamp to the top of the bulb receptacle. Vintage, UNIQUE, Tyndale for Frederick Cooper, Ceramic, Chinoiserie Table Lamp. Glazed ceramic body, with mahogany base and accents. Sculpted, raised, Salamanders and what we think are squirrels, frolicking on the body and neck of the lamp. The forest green coloring complements the theme wonderfully. Lovely Asian designed finial to top it all off. Quintessential design from Tyndale. The original Frederick Cooper lampshade was in very poor shape and had to be destroyed. We know this to be a Tyndale by Frederick Cooper because of the design, shade, and this came from a Friend’s Mother’s Estate. The Maker’s Mark is missing, and the plug has been replaced. RARE Art Deco Lamp Peacock Gold Czechoslovakia Porcelain Vase Asian Dual Socket
RARE Art Deco Lamp Peacock Gold Black Czechoslovakia Porcelain Vase 1920′s to 1930′s. 22 tall and weighs almost 7lbs. Both lights have the original pull chain. In overall excellent condition. No chips or cracks on the porcelain body. The porcelain vase/body is stamped on the bottom with Czechoslovakia, but not in the modern English spelling. It has the original wiring, but due to damage and exposed wires, I cut the wires at the base. Lamp does need to be rewired which is easily done. The original cored has a bakelite plug. Another rare find, to have the original cord. The peacock is very rare, most of these were painted with a pheasant. The base is heavy duty, I believe it is aluminum that has been painted with a gold paint. The metal on the base and neck is in great condition for the age. Condition as shown in the pictures. The top part of the base is stamped with a capital “N” with a wreath around it. No lamp shade is included. This item is in the category “Collectibles\Lamps, Lighting\Lamps”.
