The Bottom Has Nouveau Style Flowers, and Shaft has a Vase Urn Style Design. This is Has Dual Sockets with Pull Chain Switches, and also a Cord Switch in Good Working Order!!! The Shade Has a Bronze Patina Cast Metal Frame with Eight Large Curved Caramel Swirl Slag Glass Panels with 8 Rectangular Lower Blue and Purple Slag Glass Panels, with Fancy Decorative Reticulated Overlay with Art Nouveau Designs, Absolutely Stunning!!! Antique/Vtg 1920s 30s Art Deco Table/Desk Lamp Accent Light. Beautiful chrome Art Deco circa 1920s-30s table/desk accent lamp. The lamp is in orginal antique condition. Works great and has 2 shades. One shade is a green uranium glass globe and the other a clear bubble glass globe. There is patina in the chrome (pictured) and a little loosness in the top of leg supports. Overall very nice original structurally sound surviving art deco era desk lamp, with two antique shades included to switch your look from time to time if desired, the clear glass shade is the original to the lamp. Measurements- 7″ wide x 13″ tall. Green globe is 5 in diameter. Clear globe 4 1/2 in diameter. Vintage Germac spring-tension industrial desk lamp, late 1920s or early 1930s
Germac vintage industrial desk or wall lamp. A really well designed lamp that’s a bit of an enigma. Visually it looks similar to the 1930s Edon lamp, but unlike the Edon, which utilizes the mechanical connection to create friction, the Germac uses. Spring tensions to create friction. The lamp can be mounted either on a table or a wall. In the MERCHANDISING WEEK. Volume 40, page 38, 1928. The Germac Lamp Division is listed as part of the Stafford Sales Co. And owned by Lewis F. Stafford, a businessman and an inventor of automobile bumper parts Stafford Spring Guard Co. The fabric on the lamp cord is frayed, but the inner sheathing seems intact. There’s about 5 feet that comes out the end. Not sure if the cord is original though. Fully extended dimensions: 6″ W x 42″ L x 4″ H (Folded dimensions: 6″ W x 17″ L x 6″ H). Net weight: 4 lb.
