HUGE MID-CENTURY DANISH MODERN Vintage Walnut & Brass. MCM Mid-Century Modern TABLE LAMP – Nice! DIMENSIONS/WEIGHT: 48″ tall x 18″ wide. DESCRIPTION : Very scarce and beautifully designed 1960′s vintage modernist table lamp. I could not find a single other example of this lamp after an exhaustive online search. Sculptural walnut base, see-through cylindrical outer shade, cone-shaped inner shade, brass ball on/off chain pull, and over the top scale. This is a big table lamp that will make a bold statement in even the largest MCM environment (see the first photo that shows the size of the lamp in comparison to a soda can). CONDITION : Quite presentable– exceptionally nice all-original condition. No scorching, creasing, or damage to the shades. The wood finish is excellent. No cracks or breaks to the wood.
