SPECTACULAR LAUREL TABLE LAMP designed by MAURIZIO TEMPESTINI!! Excellent quality and weight. Vintage, circa 1960s, Mid-Century Modern / Eames Era / Brutalist, highly-stylized Laurel table lamp, designed by Maurizio Tempestini. Cast bronzed coated metal on a black painted metal base. Lamp weighs about 20 pounds. 50 5/8 tall to top of finial. 38″ tall to top of socket; 8″ diameter at widest. About a 9 1/2+ on a scale of 0-10. Very nice, presentable, and ready for use and display. Vintage Maurizio Tempestini Atomic-age Metal Table Lamp On Triangular Stone Base
VINTAGE MAURIZIO TEMPESTINI ATOMIC-AGE SCULPTURAL BLACK METAL TABLE LAMP ON TRIANGULAR TRAVERTINE BASE. All original, including the linen over paper circular shade, the plastic reflector and pierced white metal light filter. Three ceramic sockets and thumb switch. Maurizio Tempestini for Lightolier. Lamp: 30 high overall. Base: 8″ x 8″ x 1 high. Shade: 8 1/8″ high x 18-1/8″ overall diameter. Metal light filter: 14 diameter. Plastic Reflector: 12 diameter. CONDITION: Very good overall vintage condition. All sockets are working. A small area of the plastic reflector has melted from the use of too high of a wattage of a bulb (see photo). The linen on the shade has a few areas of light staining (see photo). Interior paper has yellowed with age. Travertine base has a small chip to one corner and a few minor chips along the edge.
