The lamp has wonderful character-classic scenes of attendants, children, and a mythical beast, all executed in traditional raised enamels. Mounted on a carved wood base with an older Leviton USA brass socket. The scene includes an unusual and charming detail: children riding and guiding a foo dog, a motif rarely seen in mid-century Famille Rose lamps. Height (to top of socket): 17 inches.
