Table Lamp 763mm Vintage L1345. Estate find – Beautiful Thomas Blakemore Gold table lamp. I believe it is the STIRLING model but I’m not certain. A google search reveals the STIRLING very closely resembles this beauty. Please review detailed pics. Item does include shade but the shade is in need of professional cleaning. Shade also has some chipped paint on metalwork due to age. The lamp itself is just gorgeous. Heavy, ornate, and detailed. Do note the red markings which I’m uncertain if are underpayment or perhaps paint drips. A light dusting and polishing would not remove the red marks. Perhaps a more thorough cleaning would but I use only the most gentle techniques. Electrics have been checked and it works great. Has US compatible plug. It’s unusual to find Blakemore lamps used in the US and I’m so excited to bring this lovely to market. Happy to answer any questions and I appreciate your consideration. Lamps to top of sockets: 18. Lamps to top of finials: 30.5. Weight (not including cords): 7 lbs. They have been tested to make sure they work, and are set for three-way bulbs. The brass ginger jar bases are 10 5/8 wide at the bottom. Theyre made by a company named Mark Thomas, Inc. They arent top tier quality like Frederick Cooper, but they are nice lamps. I would date them to the 80s or early 90s. Both lamps have tarnished spots, including some areas around the bottom that look like splatter. Theres also some light scratching and light dents.
