Very large solid brass lamp. I don’t see a makers’ mark. The brass has a lovely old patina. Not bright and shiny, but you could easily polish it if you like since it doesn’t appear to have a clear coating on it. Some spots of tarnish and discoloration to the brass parts. The base is a painted black metal and the white column is also a painted metal. These are the only parts that a magnet will stick to. This shade must be original because of the way it attaches. The whole unit screws into the top of the socket. The shade itself feels like paper? Lots of dents and marks on it. I would then tear off the paper shade so I could include the metal parts and finial in the same box as the lamp. Both boxes will be large. The lamp measures 44 tall, including the finial. 10 across the base. The brass base measures 22, to the white tube. This is a large and impressive lamp. But it is really nice!
