Vintage Rooster Table Lamp. Perfect for a home with a Farmhouse decor. I’ve had it for at least 30 years and it appears to be much older. The printing on the bottom says May 1940 or 1970, can’t tell for sure. Ceramic rooster base which appears to be handmade from a mold and the wiring was also done by hand. The wiring currently works and the lamp does light up. Full functionality, history and longevity are unknown. Because of this and because it is a vintage item, it may not work as expected over time. Wiring might need to be replaced. We describe all items to the best of our ability. We are NOT experts in any field. Since the wiring is vintage and of unknown origin I can make no guarantees as to its longevity. I’ve given it a very light and gentle cleaning, but it could use a deep cleaning from someone who knows how to care for antiques. The colors are still vibrant. There are a few nicks and flaws as to be expected, especially on the bottom base where there is a small section that has cracked off. This doesn’t affect the beauty or the balance of the lamp. Please see all pics. Approx 15 1/4 tall from the top of his comb to the base (not including the stem/socket) and approx. 12 1/2 wide from the tip of his beak to the end of his tail.
