Vintagae brass chandelier lamp. A Vintage French Rococo brass chandelier table lamp with 5 lights and a green onyx marble base all hung with glass crystal drops this has been rewired and is in full working order ready to use , it retains the old card candle sleeve covers which do have a little age distressing but this all adds to the charm of old lighting , using small screw thread bulbs ses e14 (not supplied) , the lamp could be displayed with or without shades for accuracy the shades are preowned vintage but in good condition I have just clipped them onto the bulbs but for a better fit I think round ball bulbs should be used not the candle type as shown in my photos.. Overall in good condition any small imperfections or patination to the brass is age / use related (a couple of nibbles to the onyx see picture 10 but not that noticeable) please use my photos as part of my description as you can see it displays well and nothing that spoils. Overall including the shades 25 (64cm) high. To the top of the candle sleeve covers without the bulb 22 1/2 (57cm) size taken at the middle highest part. 11 1/2 ” (29cm) across the arms in diameter and the base is 8″ (20cm) across in diameter. A Vintage Cast Brass French Table Lamp. A large and imposing piece of Antique Style lighting. The lamp is heavy and well made from heavy cast Brass sections with a gilt type finish. Style is very ornate, Rococo late Baroque in style with a large round ornate four footed base that holds a highly detailed and varies cast upright that is full of Antique detailing. The lamp finished with and ornate faux wax catcher and has a chrome cap and fittings. The lamp is highly detailed, well cast and very solid. Please see my images for the best description. Age is approx 1970s Overall height is 59 Cm – The base is 16.5 Cm across two feet. Condition is good for age, there are a few small marks from use but given the lamps age and design nothing that spoils. The lamp has good Modern earthed wiring and works well via a New chromed Brass switched bulb holder. The gilt finish is complete and varies across the lamp – some areas are polished and some are more matt with some age darkening in small highly ornate details. The finish is overall good and the lamp is perfect for any period setting. Again please see my images for the best description.
