The shade turns/adjust with screw top on upper portion fenial. The base measures: appx: 8″ by 5″ including legs, which are felted for safely placing on fine furniture. Some light surface scratches to base and in/on around the knob. SHADE: Looks good, has crackle design green paint with gold print leaf design accents—shade measures: 16″ across front by 7″ across narrow side and appx: 6 & 1/4 top to bottom.
