Vintage Art Deco Black Frankart 1927 Two Nude Ladies Lady Lamp Amber Glass Shade
Vintage Frankart Lamp Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage Frankart table lamp. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This striking lamp has a black-painted metal base which has two ladies with arms stretched high. There is one light bulb socket. Atop the lamp rests a stepped, amber glass shade; this shade has frosted and translucent area. The lamp is approximately 20 3/8 inches tall to the top of the shade. The octagonal base is about 4 7/8 inches wide by 4 7/8 inches long. The shade has a maximum width of about 5 7/8 inches in diameter. The lamp has a plastic cord with an old, round plug. The on/off switch in in between the ladies’ arms, under the shade. This lamp weighs 5 pounds 3.1 ounces, unpacked. This nice example of vintage lighting will look fantastic in an art deco decor. Identification This vintage lamp is copyrighted and marked on the edge of the octagonal base, FRANKART’27. Condition This lamp looks very good overall. The painted metal has minor wear and some edge flaking. There were some paint touch-ups to the upper part of the metal lamp (round shade holder part). The shade is supposed to be held in place via three screws. Only one of these screws is intact; where the two screws are missing, the threaded pieces that accept the screws are also missing. The shade looks good overall, with light wear, and no cracks. The lower fitter area has minor interior edge roughness. There are a few small translucent patches within the frosted panels. The socket and plug look to be original; however, the cord looks to be more recent. As with all used electrical items, this should be inspected or rewired by a professional before use, even though the visible electrical components look okay cosmetically. Terms of Sale 1. Vintage Hanging or table top Oil Rain Lamp Motion Nude Lady Greek Goddess 1970s. Overall this piece is in fantastic condition for its age. Its been in my family since the 70s, and properly stored for many years. I dont know much about it except that it works and was well cared for. I do know my grandfather had some work done on it 20 years ago or so. The electrical cord/plug is on the newer side and is set for table top use. It does have a small dent as seen in pictures. Lady spins around as rain comes down. Oil drips from every line as it should. Theres a small motor/rotating noise as she spins. Could use a proper cleaning. The goddess is a bit dusty. Vintage ART DECO ART NOUVEAU NUDE FIGURAL LADY TABLE DESK LAMP w GLOBE SHADE
For sale is a vintage Figural NUDE Lady from the Art Deco time period. This lamp is untested and may need rewiring as is the case with anything this age. This is a neat old original figural piece that looks real cool as it sits. The shade does not have any chips nor cracks. On the back of the lady there is a very small spot where there is no metal, a bit of a tiny hole as shown in picture #10. Also in pictures #11 and #12 I tried to show on the bottom of the lamp that there are two small cracks on the ledge. There is a light indent on the side ledge and a very very small crack, I just wanted to note it. Putting a cover on the bottom could very well hide this but I wanted to make sure to point them out and disclose everything. This is a beautiful old original piece. Art Deco Nouveau Female Woman Nude Warrior W Spear Lamp light Vintage 17
Beautiful vintage art deco style lamp. This piece has a great look to it and measures 17″ long by 9″ tall. This would have had a glass shade behind the woman at one point. It currently has a piece of white felt which still has a cool look but another piece of glass can be placed there is you wanted. There is a spot on the neck where the spear would have connected for support that is no longer connected. This would be easy to fix. It’s a beautiful piece. The base seems to be made of a resin material and the woman is made of metal. Please see all photos for details and feel free to ask any questions. Im not sure of the exact age of this piece. 1930 Max Le Verrier Art Deco Nude Lady Lamp Vintage Spelter Figural Frankart Era
Better descroiption to come later however the pictures really are the best description. There is minor wear to the figure and some tiny chips out of the marble base. There is a piece broken out of the bottom shade that is not noticeable when displayed as pictured. The hinge on back is broken, however the screw in front holds the shade on just fine, simply lift top shade off to replace the bulbs, again, not even noticeable when displayed. The only other thing needing mentioned is that the ring inside that holds the sockets and bulbs does not have the screws in that hold it in place, yhey are really hard to get in because her hands are in the way.
