Castiglioni Vintage Cat Flos design modernist 60s table lamp minimalist Italy
Historic table lamp with diffused light. Produced by italian company Flos and design by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962. Lamp published everywhere on all the bases of Italian and international design, so much so that it is still present in the MoMA design store. This “Cat” lamp has a wooden base, a metal structure and a “cocoon” shade. The proposed lamp is one of the first production and original of the 60s. Excellent condition with minimal signs of aging and in original patina. 30 cm high 20 cm diameter. Italian / European electrical system (see photo) but easy to modify to adapt it to your system. VERY RARE Philippe Starck Modernist Memphis Era Post Modern VTG lamp table
RARE, long out of it’s limited production; Starck’s’Tamish’ lamp table from 1984 manufactured by 3 SUISSE. I have always been a huge fan of Philippe Starck who is unquestionably the most prolific design genius of the last 30 plus years. His designs for lighting, toothbrushes, motorcycles, hotels and the iconic buildings in. Tokyo are well known. His work is in museums world wide. And on a fun side note, look up the yacht design’A’ he did, as well as the’Venus’ for Steve Jobs. CITY by the way, was the first store in the U. To carry designs by Memphis Milano, and amongst the first to carry Starck. This heavy metal lamp table has a perspex cone covering a single socket. The cone is held in place with brackets. The switch is on the cord. About 14 inches wide and roughly 13 inches tall. Small enough to serve as a table lamp, or floor lamp. This design is a museum piece for sure. Excellent condition, with a small light scratch on the top. 2 HONESTY I never sell “Frankenstein” lamps odd pieces slapped together, slathered in new paint (oddly enough usually fire engine red) and passed off as having an exotic (usually Italian, or Gino Sarfatti) origin. VTG Mid Century MODERNIST WROUGHT IRON & TILE MOSAIC TABLE With LAMP French RETRO
Excellent true vintage wrought iron tiered side table floor lamp. French modernist in appearance, but unmarked by a designer. This piece has a ceramic tile mosaic tabletop, with an attached adjustable lamp. The lamp can also be removed for more compact storage, if needed. This piece measures roughly 47.5″ tall to the top of the lamp, 21″ tall to the top of the table top, 22″ long, and 13.5″ wide. Overall nice older condition with very minimal patina to be found. One tile is missing in the back corner (picture 7). Also there is one weld on the bottom that has come loose (picture 8), but you do not notice it whatsoever (cannot tell in the photo at all), nor does it effect the overall structure of the table at all. In fact, you may not have even noticed at all if I hadn’t said something in this listing. The lamp is adjustable spinning freely 360 degrees, and the head adjusting up/down at the top. The shade feels/looks like a parchment or fiberglass material, and it is in nice condition. The lamp was functioning just fine when I bought it last week, turning on/off as it should. Pair of Small Tripod Lamps Mid Century Modernist Bauhaus Vintage 1950s 60s 70s
Mid century pair of bedside table lamps. Lampshades made of white corrugated plastic attached to a steel circular base with three wire legs. The legs are lacquered with black paint and have decorative white plastic ball feet. The original s witch is on the cord. Very good condition and in full working order. Slight blemish to one of the shades (please see picture). The lamps take one E14 bulb each. Can be used with 110-230v supplies. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have them checked by a qualified electrician.
