Up for sale is a stunning, authentic brass table lamp manufactured by the Crest Company of Chicago. This heavy, solid-construction piece dates back to the 1910s-1920s era and remains in fully functional working condition. The standout feature of this lamp is its beautifully preserved classical revival imagery. The column base features an incredibly detailed, raised-relief frieze depicting classical Greek warriors in battle. You can clearly see finely sculpted figures wearing Corinthian-style helmets, wielding round shields, and frozen in dynamic combat stances. This striking mythological or historical scene wraps entirely around the cylindrical lower section, beautifully contrasting with the polished brass bands and the textured, laurel-leaf bands above it.
