This beautiful vintage table lamp by BERMAN features a neoclassical design with a lion’s body in gilded gold with a crackle finish on shaft of lamp. The bell shaped shade measures 10.5″ tall with the top width at 7.5″ and bottom width at 13. Some small stains on inside of shade which do not show through shade while on or off. The medium-sized lamp is made of metal and a type of ceramic I believe. Base measures 5″ x 5″. It has a corded electric power source with a knob control. The lamp stands at 31.5 inches in height from bottom of base to top of finial. This beautifully made Italian lamp has so much potential, with minimal work thing thing could be restored to it’s original lavish loveliness. The cord is obviously damaged, so it definitely needs rewiring. It appears to have had crystals dripping off the foliage tips which are now missing. (I added the drop crystals to the tips of each leaf for demonstrative purposes, they are not original, but I can include them if you like) Carved wood urn style base gold gilt, perfectly accenting the six palm foliage leaves. Slight imperfections including minor bends and discolorations to the palm shaped leaves and gold gilt wooden base. The simple styled brass finial is probably not original, and could easily be replaced. This is a nice and large table top lamp without a shade included. I have never seen another quite like it. Here is a very nice vintage, Gone With The Wind, gold gilded cherub parlor lamp light. This is in excellent pre-owned condition. The gold on the globe is very heavy and very nice. It is in wonderful condition with bare minimal signs of any wear if any at all. The lamp measures 38 tall, including the globe. This displays nicely and would be a great addition to any Cherub decor or anyone’s parlor or collection. This can take a 3 way bulb for low, medium or higher lighting. THE GLOBE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH BARE MINIMAL SIGNS OF ANY PAINT WEAR IF ANY AT ALL. I DO NOT SEE ANY CHIPS OR CRACKS ON THE GLOBE EITHER. THE LAMP IS IN VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION. IT SHOWS SOME LIGHT WEAR TO THE FINISH ONLY IN SOME AREAS. THE MARBLE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. ONE OF THE CHERUBS ON THE LAMP BASE WHERE THE POT METAL WAS POURED SHOWS SOME SMALL OPENING SPOTS. This is a great vintage piece and will make for a beautiful room decor and conversation piece for any Cherub or vintage lighting collection. It is a very pretty piece. IN THAT CASE THE FELT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LAMP WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED IN ORDER TO DO SO. I WILL DO MY BEST TO DO WHAT I HAVE TO, TO GET IT TO YOU SAFELY.
