Up for sale is this vintage pair of elegantly formed 1960s Mid-Century Modern. George Kovacs stacked ball chrome table lamps. They both work with original wiring but highly suggest re-wiring. Measure 18 to top of balls. 21.5 to top of socket. Approximately 6 in diameter. Harps are close to matching but not alike. Good overall vintage condition. (I polished them myself). Noticed two small dents in the back area on one lamp one is on the top ball and one on the bottom ball (look at the last three pictures). Is located on the backside of the lamp and hidden from view. The black felt on bottom of lamps is still Present. Just add drum black shade with silver lining and you got a wonderful set of lamps. Price is for the pair! 1950s George Nelson For Herman Miller Table Lamp With Glass Top & Single Drawer. Very scarce George Nelson/Herman Miller side table, with original lamp and shade. Made of walnut with block legs. Removable glass top over a deep shelf. Below is a large drawer with a “J” pull. The secondary wood on the drawer is solid oak. The piece does not have its original label inside the drawer. Brushed aluminum rod and round fitting for the circular tube light. Switch on the top surface next to the stem. Open back for easy access to the wiring. Measurements: The base is 34″ deep, 18″ wide and 22.25 tall. To the top of the shade: 43.5. The shade measures 18″ across and 3.5″ high. The finish is in exceptional original condition. There are a few minor marks on the top edge next to the glass, extremely minor. The glass has some scratching and a small chip at one corner (this is hidden by the metal sleeve the glass slides into) so it is not visible. The lamp works perfectly- the switch is a little soft when switched, and new wiring would be good, as this is all original, but it works just find. The shade is original, and has a two small gaps at the taped join where the side meets the top. An extremely scarce piece by famed. All items are hand delivered to your home or place of business. For Sale Vintage Mid Century Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs Chrome Eyeball Table. I have seen other examples of this very lamp, mostly more contemporary. This is a desirable older version these were made for a while. Maybe are still being made. Has the non-grounded plug. The felting on the bottom is obviously vintage. Maybe from the 1960′s? In overall really good condition. One rub on the bell. I just noticed that there is a push on the bell as well. I never noticed it. VERY SHALLOW but could probably be pushed out if you desired. Otherwise really shiny and wonderful. This is just a great looking lamp. Few small table lamps are better looking. DIMENSIONS – Total height = 15 tall.
