UFO Mid-Century Dazor Model 2008 Flying Saucer Tabl Lamp, USA, 1960s. A striking Mid-Century Modern desk lamp by Dazor, Model 2008, known for its signature “Flying Saucer” shade. Made in the USA during the 1960s, this lamp features a fully adjustable arm and shade that tilts and rotates for directional lighting. Crafted from metal and rewired for modern use. Tested and working with cord and all electrical in good condition. Features all metal construction with original fiberglass shade. Lamp adjusts both up and down and side to side. Uses a standard bulb (not included). Lamp is in good vintage condition with a few scratches or markings consistent with careful use and age. See photos for condition. Twist type on/off switch located on center pole. Measures approximately 17 1/2″ tall as displayed, base is 8″ in diameter and shade is 13 in diameter. Vintage DAZOR Floating Fixture Industrial Machine Shop Drafting Desk ULP-2434-16. Tested and works as it should. The shade is 18.5 inches long. White finish in shade by bulbs is yellowing from age. Shade does have a couple dings. (Shown in pictures 9,10) Comes with 2 working bulbs. The 2 articulating arms are 18 inches each. Clamp at base that connects lamp to table is missing.
