A lovely vintage 1960s original gold finish Maclamp designed by Terence Conran for Habitat. It’s in a good, original vintage condition although I’m not sure whether the wiring is original or whether it’s been re-wired at some stage. The shade swivels to each side and up and down and the wood arms can be adjusted to the desired angle. There are scuffs and scrapes to the gold paint finish as shown in the photos. There are no splits to the beech wood arm. It has an on/off switch on the bulb holder and takes a 40 watt bayonet bulb (not supplied). It’s working but as with all electrical items a PATS test by a qualified electrician is recommended. It has a standard bayonet bulb fitting. 60s Stylish Mid Century Vintage Habitat Mclamp No 8 Terence Conran adjustable table Lamp. Stylish original 60s Habitat Terence Conran Maclamp table lamp in original white with birch wood arms. This adjustable lamp is an early production and all parts are original. Later models of the same design were produced with plastic arms. It is in superb vintage condition with only very minor signs of use to be expected from age. Original wiring with inline switch. It takes a bayonet bulb and is in full working order not PAT tested so it will need to be checked by a qualifies electrician before put to use. UK plug but a continental adapter can be provided.
