Just out of a local smoke free house is this vintage MCM Bauhaus style mushroom table or desk lamp. The lamp is unmarked except for an old UL label on the bottom. The label is marked number 97,449 and E-20773. The style is similar to lamps by several Bauhaus designers. It has a black steel base, column, and shade with chrome accents. It has a plastic diffuser under the shade. It measures about 17 inches tall, about 14 inches across the shade, and about 6 inches across the base. The lamp is in good preowned condition with some discoloration and warping to the diffuser, some scratches, light scuffs, some minimal paint loss under the finial, and some chrome loss to the top of the finial. The wiring and electrics are all original and the electrics work well. Just add your bulbs. See photos as they are part of the description. Awesome, vintage lamp – marked: Houze X Glass, Point Marion PA. Probably from the 30′s or 40′s. This is a beautiful lamp in great vintage condition. As you can see from photos, it works. Check out the plug on the cord! Chain pull for on/off works fine. Fabric covered cord and plug are good. The shade is a heavy plastic, has a nice shape. Its got sort of a satin finish. There is some fading on the inside on the shade but its fine on the outside. I’m not sure if it’s original to the lamp, but that’s the way I bought it. Takes a standard size bulb, not included. This is a rare pair of beautiful signed Lumitone lamp radios. They are both in very similar condition with mild general wear and no breaks or cracks. They measure 27 to the top of the finials. They have been rewired and the three way sockets work. The radio switches and dials both work but the radios do not turn on in either of them. The speakers and radio chassis are inside but have not been tested. Bulbs are not included.
