Vintage 50s MCM Koch Lampette Articulating Table Lamp Folding Telescoping Desk. Estate sale attic find! Cleverly designed beige metal MCM lamp, the lamp folds and twists every which way and folds onto itself for storage. Very nice preowned condition, all functions tested and everything works as it should. This lamp shows some scuffs, marks, oxidation and discoloration to lamp body, articulating shaft and cord, all typical of age and use. This lamp could use a good detailing. The wiring leading into the body looks frayed at the shaft joint on the shade side and some wire is exposed, the lamp functions as-is but should definitely be rewired or at the very least the exposed area taped over. The lamp is approximately 6″ tall when completely folded onto itself and 11.5″ tall with all sections and shade fully extended. The metal arm is approximately 5″ in length and the base diameter is approximately 3″. Lamp control panel marked Koch Creations W. Photos tell an accurate story of condition. Rare Vintage Industrial Telescoping OC White Desk Lamp Disk Joint Hubbell Shade
This lamp has a vintage OC White telescoping arm complete with signature joints. The lamp is made of brass and the base is made of cast iron. The knuckle joint on this piece is extremely rare. The cast iron base does not appear original and it has been painted. The lamp stands 19″ fully extended and 11.5″ not extended. The base is 6.5″ in diameter and the Hubbell shade is 7″ in diameter. The lamp is 11 from the joint. This lamp weighs approximately 9 lbs.
