For grabs here is this rare surviving Edwardian C-1910 gas powered bronze table lamp “Professionally converted to electricity supply” fitted with a rare Opaline torch flame shade; all original.. Very fine piece of genuine Edwardian lighting. Fine, original, genuine piece of Edwardian lighting. Square art deco style solid bronze base with original cast metal stabilizer plate, original brass cable entry grommet, and internal earth connection. Fine original heavy bronze Corinthian reeded column with upper and lower stages. Original brass bronze B22 switched bayonet fit bulb holder with lateral On/Off switch mechanism. Original bronze / brass ventilated gallery with original locking bolts. Original and very rare hand-moulded Opaline Torch Flame shade. Original brown Bakelite three-round pin plug with early cord grip. Fully professionally re-wired in three-shielded core coated cable with rip cords, earthed, tested, and in perfect working order. VTG PINK Hand Blown Glass Lamp Opaline Table WHITE Font Marble Brass Murano
Gorgeous one of kind hand blown glass lamp. It may be a Murano piece due to the shapely blown glass and marble base, but not positive. It is 34 to the top of the harp. It is a two piece pink and white glass lamp, top being white in a font design with a cap which is for decorative purposes only. It has a pull chain switch and the bottom is a pink blown glass body separated with a brass??? The base measures 5″ square by 1″ high. The harp is a very unusual design. It’s a stunning lamp. Very feminine and unique. The photos don’t do this lamp justice. The pink is a more richer soft pink than shown in the pictures. I’m not 100% positive it is Opaline but it appears to be. Item under consideration is a rare mid-century era, original Murano Art Glass Blue table lamp. Lamp has beautiful mouth-blown, ornate pear-shaped, translucent blue, glass globe, with brass stand, shade fixture and’pine cone’ shaped finial. Supported by an antique white Italian marble base. Blue glass globe has a unique design aspect, a thumbprint design covering the inside’ of the globe (see photo #9). Lamp has been fitted with new electrical components (wiring and lamp socket) and is in working condition. LAMP- 20 1/4 Tall (top of finial).
