A vintage table lamp in the style of Diego Giacometti, the lamp is made of a plastic material painted matte white to simulate plaster of Paris. The lamp was probably designed / manufactured in the 1970′s / 1980′s by either Chapman Manufacturing Company or Sirmos Lighting. The lamp stands approximately 29 inches tall, the lamp hardware can be adjusted for varying lampshade heights and the lamp shade does not come with the shade. The lamp is unmarked. Vintage, Modernist Lamp Description and Item Information Up for sale is this unusual, vintage table lamp. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This lamp is yellow glazed ceramic or pottery. The light bulb is pointed downward. The lamp stands approximately 17 inches tall, and it is about 8 inches long and 6 inches wide. Unpacked, the lamp weighs 5 pounds 4.7 ounces. Beneath, there is applied felt. There is a metal on/off switch atop the lamp, and the cord is brown plastic. This mod lamp would be a cool addition to a collection of mid-century modern lighting. Identification This vintage lamp has no markings, and I do not know who manufactured it. The exact age is not known. Condition The pottery has no chips or cracks, and the lamp looks very good overall, with light wear. As with all used electrical items, this should be inspected or rewired by a professional before use, even though the visible electrical components look okay cosmetically. Terms of Sale 1.
