Description: Up for sale is this very hard to find lamp from the world’s fair held in Chicago in 1933 and 1934. Lamp is made of white metal and depicts the Hall of Science. A very modern Art Deco building for the time. This fair was held in the middle of the great depression and would emphasize technology and manufacturing as a means to exit the depression. Dimensions: Stands 11″ tall X 10.5″ wide and about 4 deep. Will need to be fitted for a light socket, some paint missing. There would have been a top spiral that has been lost.
