Vintage Shure 55 Microphone Lamp Elvis Rockabilly Deco
This lamp is constructed from a vintage Shure 55 microphone, the most recognized and collectible microphone in audio history. The Shure 55 was used by Elvis, Sinatra, and countless other well-known musicians over it’s ongoing history. I use as many original parts as possible during the build process. The lamp is lit with a energy efficient, warm white 30,000 hour LED bulb. The cord is a new cloth covered vintage styled wire along with a vintage styled molded plug. I added an in-line on/off switch for ease of use. I cut the tops off of beer bottles to filter the light and give it a super-warm and inviting glow! This feature allows the lamp owner to switch out colors if they desire to suit their mood. I’ll send an extra different colored bottle neck so you can change the color if desired. These lamps give off a wonderful ambient light that makes any room more inviting! My top priority is your satisfaction.
