Vintage Marble Top Walnut Carved French Style Entryway Narrow Half Round Lamp Table LA Area. Beautiful marble top French style table. It is a demi lune or half round shape. Beautiful carved shells design on the apron. It has a French style flair. It is an extremely beautiful and very well made item. This is an original piece not a later reproduction, although its style came from the previous centuries. Signed by Johnson Handley Johnson Co. Out of Grand Rapids Michigan. This company was known for very high end quality furniture. They started using the mark underneath in 1927. Made most likely prodiced at the end of the 1920′s or the 1930′s. Original finish very well preserved. Marble was damaged and professionally repaired we didn’t do the work but it has metal rods underneath which show that it was done in the correct manner. Can see some of the damage on top, but it blends into the design of the marble. Some minimal wear to the carving. The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age. Tried to photograph the top from different angles to show wear… But hard to do. There are reflections in the photographs. Dont miss out on this really wonderful item! Height is about 24 3/16 inch. Table top length is about 30 3/8 inch and depth is about 14 inch. Weight is about 33 lbs. The sooner you pay, the sooner you get your item.
