Original Vintage Laurel Mushroom Tulip Table Lamp. Dimensions – 12″ tall x 13″ diameter. White metal tulip base with frosted glass shade. It features a single standard socket with 3-way toggle switch. The lamp is in good original condition, works great. There is minor wear to the base. The mushroom globe has a couple of very small knicks on the edge that sit inset on the base. They don’t affect the lamp and can’t be seen but needed to be mentioned. You can see a close up of them. Vtg MCM 15 Laurel Type Smoke Mushroom Chrome Table Lamp Bill Curry for Stemlite
Here is a very hard to find 1970s mid-century table lamp designed by Bill Curry for Stemlite, El Segundo, California. It measures 15 inches tall with the shade on. The shade measures 13 inches in diameter, and the base measures 7 inches in diameter. It has a smokey glass mushroom shaped shade, similar to the earlier Laurel lamps, and a beautiful chrome base with an elegant slender shaft. There are some small light spots on the chrome. I did not clean the lamp or try to remove the spots. It is in the exact condition it was in when we acquired it. I tried to provide photos of the spotting, but it did not picture well. It is in 100% original condition with all labels intact, original wiring and non-polarized plug. Please review the photos for a complete description. All photographs are part of the description. VTG MCM Laurel Style Mushroom Table Lamp 1960s with new globe
VTG MCM Laurel Style Mushroom Table Lamp 1960s with new globe. The base is a little different from the Laurel lamps, however, when it’s sitting on an end table, you don’t see the difference unless you’re sitting right next to it because the globe is so large. Also, these globes don’t seem to attach, so it’s a wonder any of them survived. This globe is brand new. The lamp works, but it’s so old, I’d recommend re-wiring it. I purposely didn’t paint it, as I thought that whoever buys it may want to paint it another color. This lamp comes from a zombie-free home.
