HUGE MID-CENTURY DANISH MODERN Vintage Walnut & Brass. MCM Mid-Century Modern TABLE LAMP – Nice! DIMENSIONS/WEIGHT: 48″ tall x 18″ wide. DESCRIPTION : Very scarce and beautifully designed 1960′s vintage modernist table lamp. I could not find a single other example of this lamp after an exhaustive online search. Sculptural walnut base, see-through cylindrical outer shade, cone-shaped inner shade, brass ball on/off chain pull, and over the top scale. This is a big table lamp that will make a bold statement in even the largest MCM environment (see the first photo that shows the size of the lamp in comparison to a soda can). CONDITION : Quite presentable– exceptionally nice all-original condition. No scorching, creasing, or damage to the shades. The wood finish is excellent. No cracks or breaks to the wood. The brass finish is excellent. On/off pull switch works fine. PLEASE SEE MY OTHER ITEMS for MORE VINTAGE MCM (see last photo). Huge Statement Pair of Peter Martin Vintage Brass Urn Table Lamps 55cm 22 Tall
A Huge Pair of Vintage Brass Lamps. Made by Peter Martin Lighting. Each lamp has a square shaped base with claw style feet to each corner. Above the base is a circular urn shaped body, with candle style pillars rising from the top. They are very large, and would make good statement pieces in the correct setting. Each lamp measures approximately 55cm / 22 inches tall (from base to top of light bulb holder). The square bases of each lamp measure approximately 17cm x 17cm at their widest points (edge of feet). The circular urn shaped bodies measure approximately 18cm in diameter at their widest points. They both switch on as can be seen within the photographs. The last electrical PAT test carried out on them was on 04.06.2019, which they passed. As such the lamps will need an electrical PAT test prior to being switched on. Huge Vintage Mid-Century Ceramic Owl Trio Lamp NO SHADE
In very good cosmetic and working condition. Spots of missing paint throughout. Lamp is solid and has not been repaired to the best of our knowledge. A hairline crack appears on the tail of the middle owl (see last picture). Approximate dimensions are 26-1/2 tall (with a bulb inserted) by 14 at widest point by 9 deep.
