C Reverse Painted Glass Table Lamp. Has winter woodland & cottage scene surrounding the shade. Bronze & cold painted finishes on cast spelter metal base. Lamp in good working order with cord in good condition. Lamp measures 24″ to top of finial & glass shade is 16-3/4″ in diameter. Has expected antique use wear to the metal surfaces. Heavy thick glass dimpled surface shade has manufacturing interior surface dips from glass cutting & tool molding (just noted for accuracy). VERY RARE Philippe Starck Modernist Memphis Era Post Modern VTG lamp table
RARE, long out of it’s limited production; Starck’s’Tamish’ lamp table from 1984 manufactured by 3 SUISSE. I have always been a huge fan of Philippe Starck who is unquestionably the most prolific design genius of the last 30 plus years. His designs for lighting, toothbrushes, motorcycles, hotels and the iconic buildings in. Tokyo are well known. His work is in museums world wide. And on a fun side note, look up the yacht design’A’ he did, as well as the’Venus’ for Steve Jobs. CITY by the way, was the first store in the U. To carry designs by Memphis Milano, and amongst the first to carry Starck. This heavy metal lamp table has a perspex cone covering a single socket. The cone is held in place with brackets. The switch is on the cord. About 14 inches wide and roughly 13 inches tall. Small enough to serve as a table lamp, or floor lamp. This design is a museum piece for sure. Original sockets function flawlessly and pull-chains operate smoothly. Wire and plug appear consistent with period but may not be original as evidenced by use of connectors and tape seal, which has been secured with zip ties. Lamp is presented with an art glass shade to showcase its potential and confirm its working condition. The lamp base weighs 5 lbs 3 oz before packing. It measures 22 1/2 inches tall, 5 1/2 base side and 7 base widest points. The lamp has a bronze finish, sits on four paws and its construct is thoroughly magnetic. Vintage Marble Top Walnut Carved French Style Entryway Narrow Half Round Lamp Table LA Area. Beautiful marble top French style table. It is a demi lune or half round shape. Beautiful carved shells design on the apron. It has a French style flair. It is an extremely beautiful and very well made item. This is an original piece not a later reproduction, although its style came from the previous centuries. Signed by Johnson Handley Johnson Co. Out of Grand Rapids Michigan. This company was known for very high end quality furniture. They started using the mark underneath in 1927. Made most likely prodiced at the end of the 1920′s or the 1930′s. Original finish very well preserved. Marble was damaged and professionally repaired we didn’t do the work but it has metal rods underneath which show that it was done in the correct manner. Can see some of the damage on top, but it blends into the design of the marble. Some minimal wear to the carving. The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age. Tried to photograph the top from different angles to show wear… But hard to do. There are reflections in the photographs. Dont miss out on this really wonderful item! Height is about 24 3/16 inch. Table top length is about 30 3/8 inch and depth is about 14 inch. Weight is about 33 lbs. The sooner you pay, the sooner you get your item.
