Vintage Art Deco Chandler Laying Lady Lamp
VINTAGE ART DECO CHANDLER LAYING LADY LAMP. We have up for consideration a stunning and rare Art Deco 1980′s modernistic style semi nude flapper lady metal lamp with geometric glass shade. She is patterned after a famous Nuart Creation of the 1920′s, and she is truly exquisite! This wonderful deco lady has a 1920′s flapper hairdo, she is laying on her stomach, resting on elbows, with hands holding up geometric designed glass shade. There is a draped scarf over part of her body. The overall measurement is 11″ long, 5″ wide, and 9 tall including shade. The shade alone measures 4″ tall and 5″ wide from corner to corner. The opening is 2 wide. This beautiful lamp is made of some kind of metal with a satin silver finish – a magnet will not stick to it. The shade is made of a six paneled frosted glass with a geometric design on each panel. This pretty deco lady is signed “Chandler T” on the side of the base (see picture). The condition is amazingly very good – no chips, breaks, or repairs. The shade is also in great condition. She has a great deco look – very modernistic and unique. Pictures don’t do her justice. She is truly a quality piece, and would make a wonderful addition to someone’s collection. Thanks for checking us out.
