Vintage MID Century Modern Brutalist Lava Glaze Drip Table Lamp
This wonderful example of Mid-Century Modern design is expressed in this Lava Glaze Drip lamp. The overall size is 43 high. The shade is 21″ high, 16″ diameter at the top and 18 at the bottom. The ceramic is 14″ diameter and 18″ high. The walnut wood base is 3 3/4″ (3.75) high and 9″ in diameter. The overall condition of this lamp is very good. There is some very minor vintage crazing on the top of the ceramic- not over the entire upper surface and cannot be seen in a picture but upon close inspection it is evident. The shade is of a woven wool or hemp. It is woven over wicker or willow stays which are spaced at 1/8 The color is breathtaking and very vibrant. The pictures will explain more. This lamp weighs nearly 22lb. Care must be taken where it is positioned if you have young children or the elderly in close proximity.
